  1. If you have an Australian bank account you can use BPAY up to $100,000.00. You would have to go into your bank account and check/set your BPAY limit first.
  2. Yes you have to leave and re-enter unless you were in Australia on the 24th March 2021. Being granted while on shore was a temporary measure due to covid. Good luck.
  3. We had 28 days to make 2nd payment and also provide details of flights and arrangements to leave/re-enter Australia as we were on shore.
  4. Can't be sure but I seem to remember my son uploading some documents with the AOS application it may have been at the end. He's away at the moment so can't ask him. However, he still had to take some original documents into centerlink for verification.
  5. Visa granted 27th June within hours of landing in Fiji. FYI 143 can't be granted while onshore unless you arrived in Australia before 24th March 2021.
  6. Just be aware that there is quite a queue/backlog for BUPA medicals so book as soon as you are requested. The earliest we could have booked in the Brisbane area was at least a 6 week wait. As we are on the sunny coast we decided to travel up to Bundaberg because the appointments were only about 3 weeks. However on the day we had to travel to 2 other sites for the blood tests and X-rays. Blood tests were in a shop in the middle of a shopping centre/mall with a long queue (10 min walk away). X-rays were another 35 min walk away. Not sure if any other places are like this but just be prepared that transport may be needed on the day. Everyone make sure you take your passport. There was another couple which turned up with driving licences for photo ID and they were turned away. Good luck!
  7. There are later ones than that Paul. See my signature below. We are being granted next week while we leave Australia for a week.
  8. Immigration requested medicals, police check and AOS today!
  9. Just seen a press conference by Scott Morrison. They have redefined the term immediate family to include parents of Australian permanent residents/citizens. https://www.facebook.com/scottmorrison4cook/videos/558818668519219/
  10. I looked into this a while back. I believe you have to have a minimum of £100,000 to transfer and there are all sorts of restrictions and rules. Also I think you may have to do this within 6 months of leaving the UK. Best to enquire with an Oz pensions advisor who has done this before.
  11. Interesting that in all the cost calculations for parents there's no mention of payback for all the talent creamed off the rest of the world without paying a penny for the training. i.e. It costs the uk around £250k to train one doctor.
  12. Interesting isn't it! Where else would anyone get away with misleading people (for years) and taking money from them for something they may not even live long enough to see!
  13. Have you checked your spam/junk folder? That's where I found mine!!
  14. Not sure if anyone else has posted any info about this previously so apologies if they have. If anyone is interested there is a petition "Exemption for parents of Australians and Permanent Residents" on the aph dot gov dot au website. I can't put a direct link to it on here as the forum admin will remove it. You need special permission to post a link to a petition on here. However, if you search for EN2535 on that website you will find it.
  15. Won't be anytime soon I'm afraid, probably around 8,000 applications still to process before they even get to Jan 2017. Total of around 17,000 applications made during 2017. There's lots of info about this in previous posts on here.
  16. Yes immi still telling lies misleading and taking application fees from parents who will have no chance of even living long enough to be granted visas. Shame on them, they are a disgrace. No other words!
  17. Thanks Linda I must have missed that one. Pity immi don't put this info on the parent viisa web page.
  18. Hi @amahmood unfortunately I think your parents may have another year to wait even after immi start processing again. I've run off a report (attached) from the data I have assuming all May 2016 applicants have been processed but that's unlikely. Can't really tell where they are up to as nothing has moved for such a long time. I think the last time I heard of someone being contacted for further info was around March last year for a couple of early June 2016 applications. The report shows cumulative totals by application date for 143s and 173s but there will be other visas not included in these numbers. Also since the data was published there will have been 103s converting to 143s and keeping their original application dates. No idea if all or very few of the 1,056 May 2016 applicants are complete/in progress. You will see based on this data alone that there are 3,975 applications from June 2016 to mid Sept 2016. Good luck CPV Lodged Date Report as of 17 Feb 2021.pdf
  19. Hi Thomas, signature is accessed by clicking your name in the top right hand corner of the web page when logged in. A menu will show, select "Account Settings" then when the page loads click the "Signature" option on the left of the page 3rd option from the bottom. Hope this helps!
  20. Yes I remember that, nothing for ages then lots of activity.
  21. I keep watching out for this too but not seen or heard of anyone being contacted for further info for quite a while now. Great news for the others recently granted though.
  22. Thanks @hmn141905 Hmmm.. interesting but I'm not going to hold my breath . You can be sure I'll post an update if I do hear anything.
  23. Not heard anything, to be honest I'm not not expecting to hear anything for some months yet. Where did you hear something about processing July 2016 applicants?
  24. Perhaps a little off topic but might be relavant for anyone who wasn't expecting to wait for many years for their visa and had planned a visit to Australia! This petition is for Australian residents/citizens to sign. Currently parents are not considered as immediate family so cannot travel on a tourist visa during the current restrictions! Expires 4th November 2020! Website is horrendously slow to the point where it looks like it's crashed so be patient.
