  1. When you visit the Bupa centre for medical examination, you can request to change this and pay the variance. Last year, during my appointment while verifying my documents , I was asked If I want to change the status , I did and paid the difference.
  2. Hi, I'm a silent follower of this forum. I'm planning to apply for nomination next week as I received my positive skill assessment (General accountant). I need help in providing evidence on Annual market salary rate (AMSR) for my role. Does the immigration department accept the industrial award as an evidence. I'm asking this as the responsibilities provided in the award are generic : B.1.8 Support Services employee—level 8 Employees at this level will typically have worked or studied in a relevant field and will have achieved a standard of relevant and/or specialist knowledge and experience sufficient to enable them to independently advise on a range of activities and features and contribute,as required,to the determination of objectives, within the relevant field/s of their expertise. They are responsible and accountable for their own work;and may have delegated responsibility for the work under their control or supervision,in terms of,inter alia, scheduling workloads, resolving operations problems, monitoring the quality of work produced as well as counselling staff for performance as well as work related matters. They would also be able to train and to supervise employees in lower levels by means of personal instruction and demonstration. They often exercise initiative, discretion and judgment in the performance of their duties. The possession of relevant post secondary qualifications may be appropriate but not essential. Indicative typical duties and skills in this level may include: ●operating and having responsibility for a complex and diverse payroll system; ●applying detailed knowledge of the organisation’s objectives, performance, projected areas of growth, product trends and general industry conditions for the purposes of assisting in developing policy or new products and services to meet changing market needs or other circumstances; ●using computer software packages including evaluating and determining optimum software solutions or the integration of complex word processing/data/graphics text; ●finalising quotations or costings by applying a detailed knowledge of variable inputs, margins, market conditions, supply and delivery arrangements;or ●preparing internal reports for management in any or all of the following areas: (a) account/financial; (b) staffing; (c) legislative requirement;and (d) other significant company activities/operations.
  3. Sure, I think I would need his email ID or something to get in touch. I definitely want someone look into my case before I apply.
  4. I'm applying for 186DE as accountant in 2 weeks. Since you guys are discussing about accountant timeline can you tell me if an accountant in medical firm with $54000 as salary be eligible for nomination as I don't want to waste applying for a visa that would eventually be refused.
  5. Thanks Marisawright. That's my concern as well. i'm aware there are a lot of accountant with my experience, qualification and license. I think I should think of 189 as an option rather than waste my money on 186 DE. The MA I consulted did not give me enough information on the salary requirement and said the salary was sufficient, hence wanted to know if anyone could help and get me insight in this issue.
  6. I'm already working in the firm for 1.5 years a an accountant. The firm has 5 GP practice with 40 employees with head office in CBD. hence there is a genuine need for Accountant. So do I look at 189 instead then, as I have only 80 points. Not sure if that is enough to get an invitation.
  7. Thanks Raul, I did discuss with MA and she said its above the TSS salary requirement so should be fine. However, I'm not convinced since Its a lot of investment and I don't want to risk losing the visa payment if the nomination and visa is refused. Please can you suggest what should I do. I'm from India and have 4 years of audit experience in Big4. My firm meets all the criteria, its the salary requirement that's a big concern.
  8. Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. I will be applying for 186 visa DE next week through MA and have a query. Not sure if the salary offered would meet the eligibility criteria.I'm on 485 graduate visa currently working for the employer in medical practice as an accountant. My employer wishes to nominate me for 186 DE with a salary of $54000.
