    Thanks GrandpaGrumble! We're heading to NZ on the 5th October, so I'll get that sorted now.

    Just to add to this - I travelled to Aus on a one-way ticket last month, on a visitor visa. I flew with Emirates, and had no questions about a return or onward ticket, and no questions at Immigration. Obviously not the same for everyone, but just sharing my experience!

    I received my email on Thursday to say they are ready to grant my visa! I'm currently in Australia, so I have to leave to get the grant, so we are making plans for a trip to NZ.

    Congratulations! You must be so relieved! So pleased to hear you've finally had some movement.

    I'm still waiting - applied mid-November 2018. We've had 2 RFIs (1 in April and 1 in June), but now desperately hoping for an email any day now! Hope we all hear soon!
