    Hi @ErinM, the "I confirm I have..." button is used for confirmation that you have added additional documents associated with an RFI. Usually appears at the very bottom of the page.

    Hi @Poppysunday, I actually had a return ticket - at the time it was cheaper and we planned going back for a wedding. I've been out of Oz a couple of times since arriving and I've never been asked anything at immigration. I was never entirely sure how to answer the question on the immigration card - do you intend to stay in Australia for more than 12 months? I said no because I had a ticket back and knew I didn't have the visa status for it...until now.

    Hi everyone, update from me - I got my email last night that my visa is ready to grant!! Really pleased and relieved. I've been in Melbourne since March on a 600 visa so need to leave within the next 6 weeks so my visa can be granted. Hoping more good news this week for others on here.

    Hi, I flew out to Oz on a 12 month 600 visa in March with my Australian husband, after applying for spouse visa in January. The 600 visa can be used by people not applying for partner visas so shouldn’t make any difference to approval for either.

    I think it took about 10mins to get through, I rang about 4:30pm. (The website does say Mondays are the worst day and they receive 15000 calls a day!!!)

    I had this issue too. I rang immigration yesterday and had a conversation with a really helpful person. She was able to confirm that the files were still visible on their internal system - all from our original uploads to those after RFI. She also let some notes on my file to note that I’d called with this issue but files were still visible. She didn’t think it was necessary to upload files. This was the first time I’d rung immigration but felt reassured- worth a quick call before uploading again, I think. Good luck!

    Hi @Scotmeetssyd, just logged in to check my account and my sponsors documents are missing and the categories we uploaded to have disappeared! Sounds like what happened to you. Feel a bit reluctant to upload them again! but better safe than sorry I suppose. In to the “other” category they go!(Wishful thinking perhaps but I’m kind of hoping it means there’s some progress and they’ve ticked his paperwork off...)

    Hello, another longtime lurker, first time poster. I applied 11th January, no agent. Married since 2016 to an Aussie by descent, 12 year relationship. Both UK police checks attached on submission. Medical in February. RFI received on 24th May - Sponsor Australian police check (we hadn’t done one as he hadn’t lived in Aus since he was 8, but quick & easy to do), and more evidence for 2016&2017. (We’d majored on the last 12 months but again easy to do.) I found that the RFI instructions were very clear but recognise the lack of acknowledgement & communication is trying. I’ve been in Australia since early March on tourist visa, so will need a few days away to activate when granted. Hopefully not long to go. Good luck everyone!
