Hi all, I'm really confused with the process for the 309/100 visa process. I am British and my partner is Australian. I applied online for the 309/100 visa last month, filling in all the forms and uploading all documents. I'm confused as to whether my partner has to do something separate? We've uploaded documents about him within my application, but I'm thrown by the comment on the Immi site's 'step by step' guide where it says: 'Submit your application and note the transaction reference number (TRN). Your sponsor will need the TRN to apply for sponsorship.' Does my partner need to apply to sponsor me? Have I missed this somewhere? I haven't heard anyone mention it? If so, how do we go about this?
