Thanks, thats good to know. Its coming up to a year divorced so probably missed the boat on the passport. Got 2 years left on my british passport so was unsure whether to wait it out but might get the ball rolling.

Seeking some general advice. I came to Aus as a secondary applicant on a 189 skilled independent visa. My ex husband and I have since separated and divorced (in Aus). I would like to change my name back to my maiden name but am unsure if this would impact my visa. I know have the visa in my own right but as a secondary applicant was not sure if changing my name on my visa would change things? Has anyone done this before?
