    Finally got our Pr granted on Saturday 3 weeks after s56 request. It took me 18 months and a week.

    I ve been waiting for 17 months and still haven’t heard anything not even about the nomination. Current waiting time shows 15 to 19 months.

    Hi All I just like to get you guys opinion about my situation.186 DE and nomination were applied on 23/2/2018 and my status is still shown as received. Because the business that sponsoring me has not been doing good for last year and had to let go all it’s employees (expect 2 of us on457) , I have got a doubt about my nomination. What I am thinking now is , before they open my file I will withdraw my visa application and get a refund ( I applied as a family wife and two kids). After that I will just wait for the nomination and if nomination gets approved than I will lodge my visa. I heard that if I don’t withdraw I won’t be able to get any refund.Once they refuse the nomination my visa application will also be refused automatically and no refund is paid back. I just would like to get your opinions what would be the positives and negatives about this idea? Maybe someone has already gone through this sort of situations before and give me piece of mind. Thanks for your great help.

    Hi Guys 186 DE applied on 23/feb/18 status is still received and haven't heard anything about nomination yet.

    Hi All, I am an applicant for 186 DE. Application has been lodged on 21/Feb/18 by my MA. Just checked the global processing times couple weeks ago and it shows 13 months . My MA lodged a complaint to the department last week and since that I haven’t heard anything. By the way I am a painters trade worker. Are there any other painters waiting for their visa?. Just wanna get a rough estimate of a processing time. Kind Regards
