  1. Hi Guys Need one piece of info please. The nomination approval letter received by my employer has following clause: What exactly does this mean? Does this mean that within 6 months (or earlier); my employer can nominate another employee without seeking nomination approval again? And if say they go ahead and nominate someone after 12 months; another nomination would be required to be filed? Another Q: The letter also states that: How exactly is this rule feasible? If say I leave the firm after 1 year or 3 years; employer shall need to inform Immigration about it? Or is this clause only applicable if the separation process is initiated by the employer (and not the employee)?
  2. Hello Folks Happy to report that I got my TRT 186 granted today. It went straight from 'Received' to 'Finalised' status. For everyone else who is waiting - don't worry your turn is just around the corner. All the best!
  3. Hi Guys I have a query - can I apply for 189 or 190 EOI (and then a visa) in parallel to 186 that is under processing? While the question sounds weird but I just want to know what are the repurcussions of doing it - if any? With processing times extremely unpredictable; does betting on two horses instead of one help in any way? And firstly, is it even allowed?
  4. Hi Folks I was wondering whether all applications move sequentially through different statuses - e.g. from 'Received' to 'Initial Assessment' to 'Further Assessment' <in case of submission of pending docs sought by CO> and then to 'Finalized'? While going through various posts on this forum; saw that quite a few members have their application still in 'Received' stage inspite of their submission being many months old. Is there someone for whom status changed directly from 'Received' to 'Finalised'? Asking this because apart from status of application; there is no other way to figure out whether the case has been assigned to some CO or is the application just catching the 'digital version of dust' in some obscure location on the servers of Immigration's IT Department Atleast, if all applications move through various stages; I'll stop logging into my Immi account every week just hoping for some 'progress' and avoid feeling dejected! Cheers and have a great weekend!
  5. Yes. I have done exactly that. Thanks for suggestion and guidance of board members here. Cheers!
  6. Thanks so much @BigBan. I already have the Ack letter which can be used to apply for Medicare benefit. I'll follow the instructions in your message and try to check in on the status of my application in Immi account. Really appreciate your help on this one! Cheers!
  7. Yup. Thanks for the info @HokeyPokey. I have asked them to provide bi-weekly updates on the progress of my case. Did they share any credentials wherein you can log on to Immi Account and see the status/progress yourself? I find it a bit weird that I have to go back to them everytime I need to check in on progress of my application. How about you?
  8. Hi @HokeyPokey Same here! When I try to compose a PM, a pop-up window comes up that says that I am only allowed to send 0 messages per day. I checked in the settings as well - no idea how to sort this out. Is it something to do with how many posts/how old you are to the forum? That sounds the only logical explanation of not allowing new members to send PMs. Forum members - guidance please? Cheers! Tapas
  9. Thanks for the suggestion @davey5593 I think my application is as complete as it can be in current situation. My company has filed my application through PwC's Immigration consulting arm and I have also submitted all documents - police checks, IELTS scores as well as other supporting documents in first shot itself. The medical tests were done last week as well. From the looks of it, now all I can hope is to be on the 'early' pile. Fingers crossed! Cheers
  10. Hi Guys Hello everyone Just joined this forum as my ENS 186 visa (TRT) application has been lodged on 4th June 2019 and I wanted to know what would be possible timeframe that I can expect for final decision. I had a look at the tracker in the spreadsheet whose link comes in with the welcome message but found that it has very few entries. I was just wondering if I am looking at the right tracker - can the forum members help me with the link to the visa tracker spreadsheet please? Also, from the posts in this forum I am getting a feeling that timeframe for final decision is extremely random and there is absolutely no way to tell if the decision is gonna take 2 months or 2 years! Bt still, I wanted to ask if someone has identified any pattern at all here - like if some occupations or nationalities or company sectors experience swift decision making and others do not? Being a newbie I'd love to hear thoughts of people around this one. Thanks everyone and good luck to all those waiting for the decision. Cheers!
