What other options do I have since now I am the only family members that is not in Australia? Any advise.

My wife is a holder of 143 Parent Contributory visa. She has been holding this visa for more than five years already. Currently she is working and has a permanent place to stay as well in Australia. Can she sponsor me as a partner visa under subclass 820/801? I have been commuting on a tourist visa to be with her and my two working children in Australia. Any advise

Hi, I intend to apply for partner visa onshore ie subclass 820 and 801. My question are: 1. how soon will I be granted the BVA once I submit my application to the immigration department via immi.? 2. I am currently under tourist visa but given a one year multiple entry visa. Which date the immigration dept will consider when looking at the expiration date....3 months or one year before they grant me the BVA? 3. In case if I am holding a BVA and due to an urgent requirement I need to travel out of Australia, how fast can I obtain the BVB? 4. Are there a checklist of documents that are required to be submitted for application for 820/801.....don't seem to find it? 5. When do I need to do a character check....before submission of after? Will they inform us?
