  1. OMG my husband visa has been granted too, straight to PR, no RFI, and with only 11 days until we leave the UK! 18 weeks from application! Good luck everyone I hope each of your applications are as painless as ours has been
  2. It's great to hear of all these grants! I'm sitting on tenderhooks as we fly out of UK on 06/06/19 (arrive in Oz 21/06/19 after a holiday ) and my hubby still doesn't have a visa Got to get there for my new job so it's not like we have an option of waiting. Got everything crossed we get something soon @katlb82 we applied the same week
  3. Hi all I've landed an amazing job opportunity so we are going to be relocating far quicker than initially planned (like 8-9 weeks). My husband's visa was placed in January. All uploaded etc. For those of you who have gone over without PR can you tell me which visa you applied for? I'm a little confused! He is 38 so too old for a WHV! Background: together over 15 years married almost 12 years, 2 children (got citizenship by descent through me). Thanks in advance x
  4. Crikey that's weird! I lived there as a child so hoping they don't ask for one for me? It doesn't look like I'd need one but then I've not heard of them asking for one if you ever never lived there either! Enjoy Sydney, that sounds sensible to get the kids settled. It's such a big move for them too We have our UK police checks done, and hubby's medical is next week. My children have got citizenship by descent so they are good to go. Wish you all the best and thanks for replying. Dx
  5. Thanks for this information. An expensive frustration too . I've never lived in Melbourne but it's certainly a popular location. I wish you all the very best. My hubby might have to go on a holiday visa until his gets granted if things keep moving this fast for us
  6. Fantastic news for you both @simonp85 and @mia.oh.my when are you both starting your adventure? Do you mind me asking what your RFI was? I notice it was requested for both of you after 3 months. I've sold my house and have two interviews so now trying to get my hubby's through without any RFI's
  7. Ah thank you so much! I literally had a mad little panic Does anyone know how medicals are uploaded? I.e. do we get to see the full report? My husband has his on 19/03. Dx
  8. @Ingers I've just logged on to find all 90+ of my husband's documents have disappeared too I've them up and he said they can see a lot of documents in the background but can't tell me how many. I want to cry as ours haven't even been looked at yet. I expect had to fill in the technical help form. Can you let me know if you hear anything back? Dx
  9. Hi all I'm new to this so the thread is great thanks! Our info is.. together nearly 16 years, married 11.5 years. 2 children. I'm the citizen, children are citizens by descent. Husband is the visa applicant. Got an appointment in March to get mine and children's passport from London. These timelines are a great indication as I've been stating to everyone it'll be about 12-18 months!!! Hoping not as we just want to get out and start our new lives... like everyone! Applied 16/01/19, police cert uploaded, booking medicals hopefully for early April. If you wouldn't mind adding to the spreadsheet I'd really appreciate. Nice to see movement this gives hope to all
