  1. Hi Hex, First of all thanks for all your massive contribution and help on this forum ! Like most people I had the fair intention to stay 2 years with my nominated employer when I lodged my application. That was without knowing the processing time of my application itself would take close to 2 years... I can imagine the years already spend with the employer under bridging visa during the extended processing time isn't a receivable reason to leave early is it ?
  2. Hi All, Company Nomination approved last Friday. Today my application still reads as received but last update is dated today 04/03. 1x new message requesting updated medical - I wonder how long it will take to my MA to notice me and I don't want to jeopardise by clicking on the "organising the health examination" link myself. Finger crossed but I can see some bright light at the end of the tunnel ...
  3. Thank you so much for that Tiziana. I had my heart racing for a few minutes, at least I wont have false hope now. Back to the dust pile then...
  4. Hi guys, My MA has sent an email to the department requesting update since my application is passed general processing time for over 3 months. MA did and now tells me " We have been informed that the application has been allocated to a decision maker for processing. If they require any further information they will contact us in the coming days". Has anyone heard of a "decision maker" before ? Her mail sounds like someone will finally look at the case "in the coming days"? Or should I just read it as the generic answer "your file is under process" ?
  5. It is awesome for these guys getting fast processed. I wonder if the department is sometimes processing newer applications first just to show-off good statistic and improvement on the general processing time. Shamefully old application would then be processed behind in the queue and at such a pace than less than 10% of them are finalised each month, keeping the processing time stats down for the 90% application processed figure. Just my imagination...
  6. Hi Michael, Thanks for the info, I am glad to find someone else with similar occupation. You must have gone thru the same ordeal watching the general processing time increasing every month up to 19 month. When I lodged my application my MA told me the announced processing time was around 7 month. Now they are back down to 12-15 month which matches with your application date. From what I read on the forum it seems like they might be processing same occupation applications at the same time for some sort of technical economy of scale. I can only hope both our applications will be processed at short interval very soon. Each day gets us closer to the final outcome, I'll let you know as soon as I hear from them.
  7. Hi guys, I discovered this forum by chance a couple of weeks ago while screening the web, desperately looking for whatever information I could find on the reasons behind the extended processing time of my application. I cant believe I went 18 month without knowing about this community, it feels good knowing you are not alone! Reading you helped me understand a bit more this frustrating process and what to expect next. The past 3 month I have been out of the standard processing time. I called the immi twice just to receive the usual answer "your file is being processed", they wouldn't provide any further info. Getting hold of my immigration lawyer is even harder than reaching the department so they are not helping either. Is there a forum that specifically reviews immigration lawyers based on past experience ? My application online says "last update November 2017" but I don't really know what this means knowing my MA has update our address a few month ago as well as uploading some updated documents ? ------------------------------------------------- Occupation: Contract Administrator State: unknown Birth Country: Europe Stream: ENS DE Number of applicants: 2 ENS 186 Visa and Nomination applied: August 2017 Last Update November 2017 IMMI Status: Received
