We contacted the visa department on a personal matter and was informed they were looking at changes to the 410 visa. They could not confirm that the 410 visa will be renewed and advised us to contact an immigration specialist which we did.. At this time the immigration specialist cannot give us any advice as they are also waiting for government information . Hence our concern. We are also wondering if they will reintroduce the Reciprocal Medicare Card .

I spoke to visa section. They could not advise what I should do and said I should speak to an immigration specialist. This I did and they were unable to help at this time as they are awaiting "guidance " from government.

I have a 410 visa. This visa is discontinued. I have contacted the government re what is happening to us! They say no decision has been made although a decision has been made to cancel the 410! is there anyone in this position and knows what is happening? Derick
