has anyone sent an email to nsw.pse with regards to a s56? how long do they usually respond? i was requested for a HK police cert but did not stay for more than 12 months and i was not given a referral letter. wrote to them to relook into the matter but have not got a response for 13 days already

did anyone get an s56 for police clearance in a country where you did not live for more than 12 months (cumulative and consecutively) ? What did you do about it?

No, what i meant was, wouldn't the police clearance certificate be issued in the name of the current passport, which in my case, is my post marriage name (which is just an addition of my husband's family name) I have the relevant docs to show why there is a name change but I doubt I would be able to get a police clearance cert issued is my pre-marriage name as the passport now shows post-marriage name. Am i missing something?

Hi, How do you submit a police clearance if the name on the passport has changed to post-marriage name? I thought all police clearance is based on Passport?

@pravincvim not sure how to do the signature. But my occupation is Accountant (General). Nomination applied on February 28, and approved on April 3

@pravincvbut i can see from yours you got you nomination and visa approved in slightly over a month?

@pravincv Its 190 that I have been invited and applied for and it seems like there has been a halt in the processing. I already have my 186 nomination approved and the 6 months to submit the application is due soon. When submitting the application for 186, for all occupations which I have ticked as related to nomination occupation, must I provide supporting documents? Or can I just provide supporting docs for employment for 3 years.

Must I withdraw my other pending visa applications in order to submit application for visa 186?

@hex thatnks. I just confirmed with DHA that we dont need to do another medical if its within 12 months. We can include the HAPID for the other visa application in the 186 application form ALso, is there a tracker for 186?

can i use the hapid from another visa application or must i do one specifucally for 186?

@HexThe reason I asked was because my nomination was approved just after 2 months (applied in Feb, approved in April). I have not lodged the application yet as I have 6 months to do so. Just not sure if it really takes 10-15 months after visa lodgement to be approved and if its worth paying a whole lot of money again for the whole family's visa application fees
