I didn't ask for an early ceremony but they did say in their email confirmation that if she didn't get a ceremony within 6 months of the approval date then I could contact them. I think in that case they would expedite it. However, it came through pretty quick so we're over the moon. Only thing is she has to go on her own which is a little sad but a small price to pay! Good luck with your son's ceremony - I'm sure they'll sort it out

I went through the home affairs immi website - the help and support section. It's a busy number so had to wait a while to get through.

Hi pearplumpie, actually we had requested to have our ceremonies together. I didn't know when we applied that she could get approved so quickly without an interview or test. As she is going to uni next year we want her to be eligible for a student loan. I rang them up to explain this and they un-linked her application from mine and my husbands. We are in Perth, Western Australia

Hello all, My husband received our ens trt visa approval today (actually the 18th) 2 x emails nomination and visa approved on same day. He applied on 8th Feb 2018 (sales and marketing manager, low risk country, 5 applicants) I have been a silent reader but wanted to put this on here. This has been the most stressful year of our lives but we finally have the good news. I did not expect to pass the medical due to illness but somehow I did so sometimes all is not lost. Stay positive. Wishing you all the very best of luck with your applications!
