  1. Hi Ksttt, this is based on my experience. my partner also had police check uploaded from UAE (Dubai to be specific) we applied for his police clearance in April 2018. It arrived 3 months later around July 2018 (3 months validity)and uploaded in our immi files. a CO was assigned to our case this January 2019. He did not request for UAE police clearance anymore and considered the one we submitted in July. again this maybe a case by case basis. I did ask our MA in January when our file was still received if we need to start reprocessing police clearances as they were due to expire/expired but she said to wait until it is requested by CO. Hope this helps.
  2. Hi Schryised From my experience i took 28 days until a decision was finalised from Further assessment. that is the same amount of time given in the letter for additional documents. (my signature has my timelines) But from this forum i can assume an average of 28 days to 35 days before a CO can get back to your file. But then again some in this forum have waited longer than that. just be patient for now. a CO has been assigned to your case and it shouldn't be long now Good luck!
  3. Hi Everyone, Just wanted to share a bit of good news. We have got our GOLDEN EMAIL! yay! Our Visa Grant has been Finalised and Granted yesterday, March 06, 2019 (timelines updated in my signature) It has been a long journey of 1 year in anticipation and constant waiting. We applied for our application last March 2018 and at that time the processing time was 8-10 months. We've seen the processing timeline increase month per month but this forum has kept our spirits up. So I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all. I wasn't as active but i learned from advice of people from this forum. So for that THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Please ensure to check your documents when you get access to your application, this will save you so much waiting time! It never hurts to do a bit of due diligence. For those who have been waiting long, just keep the faith, your golden emails will arrive soon
  4. Hi guys, just a quick question. I’ve imported my 186 trt application today and found Action Required medical examination. Spoke to my Migration Lawyer and he said it is generic requirement for 186 application and i should not do it untill CO request for it. My question is should i do it now for time saving or wait for CO request. Has someone experienced this to save timeframe??? Not sure about CO. But based on my experience, my MA asked me to defer the medical for 3-4 months. I submitted my application March 2018, HAP ID was provided by my MA for medical in June 2018 and we did the Medical in October 2018. Medical is required for your application but if it is already expired by the time a CO is assigned to your case, they can ask for new medical (additional expenses).
  5. Congratulations mate! now I'm getting exciting for my golden email too. Might need to wait longer but its worth the wait anyway! Congratulations once again!
  6. It won't be long. It's my birthday month as well. so Happy Birthday to us. Let's hope and pray that our PR will be our birthday presents for 2019.
  7. If you have imported your form into your own immi account click on details and on the left side menu there is ACTIONS >> Attach document. Once you click Ättach documents it will open all the documents attached per person in your file on the right hand side. You can then check all the documents your MA has uploaded. I suggest not to upload any document but advise your MA if a file is missing. for me i found 2/3 police clearance from my partner was uploaded (missing one) and also the english certificate (which is a requirement for all applicants - primary and secondary) hope this helps.
  8. Yeah i figured another round of waiting game until they can get back to my file... that is why i was a tad bit frustrated but hey i figured nothing else i can do but keep on waiting and hoping it'll come before the 12 month mark. Good luck and all the best to you mate! Our Golden email will come soon. the toughest bit which is nomination is now approved so we can celebrate partially and celebrate again once we get our golden emails.
  9. Silent reader her for the last 11 months. First time posting. Yesterday i checked my application online and found that it is in initial assessment stage however immigration was asking for additional documentation for my partner (police clearance and proof of English) both of which i know i sent to my MA as part of my application. When i checked the documents uploaded for my application, i found that 1 police clearance was not uploaded and his English certificates were not there. When I spoke to my MA, she advised that it was an issue from department and they sent them an email together with the documents to clarify that it has been uploaded before. (not entirely sure i want to believe this.) Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know that its best to do a bit of checking and due diligence. I wouldn't have found out that my nomination was approved or that there were missing documents if I didn't check and now I'm regretting that I did not check earlier to ensure all was uploaded when i got access to my application. (via help from this forum of course! )
