Thank you Ali, I called the Home Office last night and spoke to someone there, she basically said the same and to give dates etc that we had been together previously e.g. she stayed with me for 4 weeks in 2016, I stayed with her in 2017 for 3 weeks and then again for 3 weeks in December 2017, and then obviously for the 8 months that she lived here last year. Good afternoon and thank you for adding me, I have an application in for a partner visa through the immi account online, the application has just been picked up and they require further information about my defacto relationship. my partner booked a year off work to come and live with me in the UK in 2018 (she had previously stayed with me for a few weeks in 2016), she arrived at the end of January but unfortunately due to family issues at home she had to return to Australia at the beginning of October which left us short of the required 12 month period. I did fill in the 'change of circumstances' part of the immi account outlining the details. so basically I wondered if we still have a chance of me getting the visa ? thank you Chris
