  1. If I applied for defacto partner status on my partner's TSS visa while on a working holiday visa, would any rejections affects the status of my WHV?
  2. Are there any issues if I apply for a working holiday visa while also trying as a Defacto partner on my girlfriends TSS Visa?
  3. My girlfriend has a job and sponsorship for TSS Visa as a Doctor and I understand that partners can be added if they are married or you can show ‘Defacto’ relationship. We have been together five years but not living together due to jobs and University in different cities. Does anybody have similar experience of this? Will they still accept this if you can prove you’ve been together five years? What could I do now to help as the plan is to move around September?
  4. Does anybody know how likely it is to find a company to sponsor you for a job in australia so that you can work for longer than 6 months? It seems like they don’t advertise this so maybe it’s not a thing. I also can’t find any posts of people who did something similar.
  5. They don’t have any jobs posted so unclear if they’re still active but thanks for the recommendation!
  6. Thanks for the quick response! Is that the case even for contract positions that are less than six months?
  7. I'm looking for information on whether employers consider applicants on a Working Holiday VISA for skilled contract opportunities or if they avoid this kind of VISA entirely. From what I have read there are no technical limitations other than that the contract with one employer could not be longer than 6 months which would be fine for me. I also don't expect to stay longer than 12 months in Australia. I'm a UK based IT Projects Manager with 8 years experience and want to do some travelling and working in the Brisbane area but would prefer to work in a similar role between holiday time rather than the usual jobs available to backpackers.
