  1. @Hex, yes I know. I was merely stating that 75 points in not enough and how long we "waited" for 2 years. We eventually went for ENS because it was the only way for us to PR.
  2. We had 75, waited 2 years and not even close to getting near an invitation. I know of some Accountants on 80 points with no invite for almost a year.
  3. What happened to us was we had our Police Checks attached with the application, 11 months later CO ask our MA agent for Police Check, only to attach it again and notified the CO. There has been a few cases here that some docs may have been removed from your application. Maybe a certain batch of applications when they upgraded their website or something.
  4. Hey @Jenny1985 We got a CO just after two weeks after our nomination, he requested AFP docs that was already submitted with application, our MA responded and re-attach the docs. We then waited 35 days...BOOM! PR! Was a very long 35 Days because of the docs being submitted same day when requested... Hang in there...
  5. It differs, the "norm" trend is, if all your docs has been submitted before nomination and they all still valid then it ranges from approval on the same day as nomination or up to 5 days from Nomination, if the CO ask for new AFP/Medicals after nomination then a safe timeline is 35 days from when CO asked for your docs, given you submitted before 35 days has been passed. Further than 35 days or submitted your outstanding docs after the 35 days...you fall in the unlucky patch and have to play the waiting game because that would be random. The "35 days from when CO asked for your docs and given you submitted before 35 days has been passed" was our scenario, one of our work friends and a lot of people on this forum. The CO does not look at your file everyday to see if you have submitted, hence the 35 days before he get's back to your file then make a decision.
  6. All good, but why so many questions if you have a MA to be able to answer most the questions?
  7. If a corporate sponsor you it the process is a lot less intense as a small company because of the red tape of smaller company, this does not mean your application will be done sooner it just mean that you have less "pressure" for the nomination to go through successfully.
  8. I will agree on that because that is the exact route we went. I know a lot of Accountants that is still on pending and applied earlier than us that works in smaller companies and/or done the application themselves. However I think the size of the company does carry more weight than doing the PR yourself or using a smaller migration agency. That is why the nomination part of the process (can the company afford you, stable company, size, turnover, etc.) is the most difficult part and your actual PR part the "easy" part. Always here to assist and will not run away, this forum helped me a lot so it's my turn to give back some knowledge and experiences we had.
  9. Oooooohhhhhh my greatness!!! Just got our GOLDEN Email, PR granted!! Timeline updated in my signature.
  10. Hey mate, We had the exact same problem, CO asked for PCC documents, the migration agent did tell the CO that they were submitted with application in Feb 2018, she attached it again. Been 4 weeks now and waiting...
  11. Our Nomination got approved 21 Dec, CO asked for PCC's middle January...we just waiting now. There was another accountant that got is nomination also approved 22 Dec and PR granted early January.
  12. Common...still no golden email!! Nomination approved on 22 Dec...cannot work when my fingers are crossed all the time!!! @Mayur got his PR Approval 2 days ago in same occupation with the same nomination date...
  13. Hey @Mayur The responses are correct, we got informed by our company's HR that it has been approved. They also forwarded us some documents like the official approval notification and job description. All our docs has been done, medicals we did early December as I had a feeling our approval is near because a lot of the Feb 2018 applications getting approved on this forum. Good Luck to you for some good news soon!
  14. DAMN hope so! All forms in...just a waiting game now. Our Police Clearance expires on 7 Feb so they better get it done before then!!!
  15. Some partial good news... Nomination has been approved on 22 December 2018 while we were on holiday!! Hopefully we close getting the GOLDEN email, as I read this forum I presume the Nomination is the big one to get through, hope it is true. :-) It seems that the Accountant Occupation has been struggling lately with high points (80-85) on the 189 to get nominated, getting this far with a nomination approved seems positive.
