  1. Look for the status under health assessment tab for your child in the immiaccount. If it would say, Health Clearance provided-no action required, then it is cleared. Wait for at least a week more for status change from Examination in progress. If it would state Examination assessed-wait for further advice from the department, then you need to wait until the case officer is appointed and what further they asks for, which normally takes 4-5 months from visa lodgement.
  2. You can check the status of the health assessment in Immiaccount under health assessment tab. Normally BUPA is the one who does evaluation of the reports. They are quite fast and send the feedback to processing officers. It is only case officer contact applicant for further information and not MOC.
  3. Thank you for the message. I will keep the thread posted the outcome once I hear from the department.
  4. I once was to travel from India to the Middle East and reached the airport at the last minute; even though they could have accommodated all of us, I had to miss the flight since they could not allocate all in one row due to my children <10 years old. Until today, had flown multiple times, all the time had got the seats for all including them in a single row. So I am quite sure you will get all in same row when you go to airport bit in advance, say near to 3 hours prior to departure.
  5. Dear All, I am the primary applicant with dependants. I have already submitted by 189 visa application in Oct; including the health check. My health condition: My left leg alone is affected by Polio since my childhood. However, I lead a normal life without any external support and medication until date. The panel doctor indicated that they will make a note in my file about Polio. Rest everything went OK. Unfortunately, the wait is painful to know the outcome for health clearance, since I could not get a clear information on Home Affairs page, except the statement, the applicant's ongoing and future community dependant cost will be assessed and if it exceeds a threshold limit the whole application will lead to rejection. Had anyone here had a sort of similar condition for one of the applicants and how the department considers such application. The health tab in Immiaccount states, health clearance provided-no action required for all applicants. Does that mean, Medical Department had cleared my examination or it is only an indication that examination is completed and case officer will review further my case and make a decision?
