To those friends who worry about training benchmark, I have got my PR already and I can tell that it is very important but not the decisive condition. As some reasons, my employer paid for the training benchmark for the first year delayed for about 1 year. I was worried if we could satisfy the training benchmark requirement. But now, my experience could prove that it still takes a flexible approach when assessing benchmarks. If you have the same issue, do not worry too much. Hi Rob, It really depends on what kind of broker you are. My one is 222199 Financial Brokers nec. (This occupation group covers Financial Brokers not elsewhere classified. Registration or licensing may be required.) It is said that the registration or licensing may be required but I do not have any. I just submitted my degrees which is relevant to finance. My employer also wrote an explanation letter to the CO to introduce my occupation. (Of course, it is better if you have any license.)

Hi guys, My employer was asked for more information for the nomination. 1, No equivalent worker 2, Terms and conditions will be no less favourable than the terms and conditions provided or would be provided 3, Evidence of meeting the training benchmarks for nominations made in the Temporary Residence Transition 4, 2 years full-time, in a 3 year period preceding the nomination The only one I worried is the training benchmarks. Our sponsor was granted in September 2015. But for some reason, my company did some invalid training for the year 2016. After that, they paid the training fee later in July 2017, November 2017 and November 2018. My MA has written an explaination letter for us. Do not know if it works. Does it matter regarding the nomination？ Or is there anyone meet the same issue？ Really need your advice. Thanks!

In such cases, your application cannot be approved. Once your application has reached the assessment stage, you will be contacted by the Department and given the opportunity to withdraw your application in writing. Alternatively, you can request a withdrawal in writing at any time and request a refund of the application fee. If you do not withdraw your application, it will be refused. By my understanding, it would affect 186 Direct Entry only. Please check the last line which said if you already hold 457, you will not be impacted. Not too sure, please contact your MA and let me know the outcome as my occupation was removed as well.
