  1. Hello everyone, I am a very perplexed pom right now and seeking some advice. :) This is my first post here, nice to meet you all. I am a UK citizen who moved to Australia 28 years ago and am also an Australian citizen. My wife is Australian, but only I hold a UK passport. We both traveled to Scotland last year and fell in love with the place, we both hope to move there later next year. I worked within IT for over ten years in Australia, currently working within IT in China and have been here 8 months now. We are here for the best part of two years before relocating to UK. My wife was working in Australia as an accountant but she is currently not working in China and hopes to work as an accountant in UK. Does the fact that we are in China cause any issues when relocating to UK, to apply for a spouse visa? How does this work regarding the income requirement? Can we use our time working here to contribute to the income requirement? Can untouched funds in our Australian account be used towards the saving requirement if we didn't use the employment route? Can rental income from investment properties be used in conjunction with employment here in China? Can my wife enter UK as a tourist with her Aussie passport and apply for sponsored visa within the UK or does she need to be outside? I apologize if this seems simple to anyone here, but for us and our circumstances, it all seems very confusing. I appreciate any advice you can provide.
