Thank you so much @Renault, I lodged on 10/9/18 and CO contacted for police checks for me and family on 10/11/18 which was submitted on 25/11/18 and then I just got my grant yesterday .. how long have you been waiting for ?

Hey guys, I got my 489 visa grant from NSW (northern inland) on Friday 22/2/19, just thought to update you all and ask did anyone got a grant ?

I know 2 who got 489 grant today Can we all please share our timeline once again, occupation, onshore and how long everyone been waiting for ? thanks .

Absolutely, I would do the same as to eliminate the risk of getting a refusal..

If he has done his bachelors in English then only it’s going to count which should be of 3 years as well and ielts/pte is definitely valid for 3 years but for the secondary applicant they only accept if it’s no more than 12 months old, I hope you understand now .

Hi Alka, if they have asked for the birth certificate, you have to provide that only, nothing else would work as far as I know, and regarding your husband ielts if he’s the secondary applicant, it needs to be not more than one year old so in your case he has to sit for another one!!

Congratulations jetblast on your grant can you please share your timeline ( occupation, state as well please ) and also were you onshore or offshore when you applied the visa?

I wanted to ask you and everyone who’s waiting for the visa that if you get a visa grant of 489, are you able to live in any regional of Australia or just nsw ? Because I have been told that we can live any regional in Australia ? Which profession did you apply in ? Cook or chef ?
