  1. I believe this is the link guys. Just follow the prompts. Please remember this not the department’s preferred way of enquiry so if your application is within 24 month processing time, I would suggest refraining from using this. Good luck! https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-and-support/departmental-forms/online-forms/complaints-compliments-and-suggestions
  2. Hi Guys I applied in April 2017 and my file is finally being processed. Last month, my MA lodged a complaint through the immi website enquiring about my application and we received a response from them in the next few days to say they are currently processing the application. It is a compliant form that you have to fill on the website not an email. I would suggest to use this way of contacting the dept only if you are outside of the normal processing time. On another note, please make sure you get copies of visa lodgement etc as a proof from your MA, I have heard terrible horror stories about some MAs who have taken the money and lied to clients that the applications were lodged but nothing was actually lodged. I don’t mean to scare you but better be safe than sorry. I hope your applications are processed soon and we all get our approvals soon. sending best wishes to all.
  3. HI There, what state are you from? Did the people from immi inform the business or applicant before coming in to inspect or did they just walk in? please share
  4. Hi There I am in the same boat. Nomi applied Oct -16 and visa applied Mar-17. My nomination got approved in June-17 and I have been waiting ever since. I had the same question about the processing time so I called immi last month and was very fortunate to get a very nice lady for a change. She informed me that the processing times start from the date the visa application is received. In saying that, we have seen lots of people in this forum getting their results much earlier or well within the processing times. It has all been so random these days. I also spoke to my MA and they seem to be of the same opinion because it’s hard to point on a particular pattern. My MA did point out that perhaps the applications from before April/May 2017 are being scrutinized more as compared to the ones after the major change was announced in the requirements. As the new applicants had to satisfy higher requirement levels, there is less risk of abusing the system and therefore perhaps their applications are being processed faster. I have just tipped over the 22 months processing time frame so fingers crossed should hear something in the coming days. Wishing everyone all the best and keeping my fingers crossed for my family and all my mates here. Hope we get a fair chance to make this place our permamanet home.
  5. Hi Gary, The 6 month’s validity is for the applicant to apply. Below is a snap shot from the nomination approval I had received.
  6. exactly my thought, that is why I had called in Oct 2018, questioning if something had been missed by error etc. the guy on the phone said, the way their procedures are designed. it is not possible. They could at worst miss sending the email to inform of the outcome however the immi account would definitely show that the decision has been made. He just point blank refused to look any further into the case for me. The nomination was granted in Aug 2017, this wait is for the applicant's visa. In regards to the processing times- my MA has informed me that it counts from the date the applicant's visa in lodged. I am currently sitting on 22nd month, so should be expecting something very soon , (fingers crossed).
  7. Hi, They had requested for updated reference letters in June 2017 which I provided within a week. The status of my application has been "further assessment" ever since, over 1.5 years now. My nomination was approved Aug 2017. It has been that long, I don't even know what to make of this lengthy wait. Have called the department multiple times and they refuse to entertain because I am still within the 22 months processing time frame. I am so disheartened.
  8. Hi Brarz, Thank you for your reply. it gave me much needed reassurance. May I please ask what they said to you when you called them? were they of any help? I called them first thing this morning and got the usual - your case is being looked at - you are withing the processing time frame - all applications are assessed on case by case basis etc etc etc. No explanation to why there is such a significant delay. Please share how your conversation went with the representative? Thanks again
  9. Hi Guys, Have been following this forum for a while and sometimes it helps to read some good news when the wait is so ridiculously long. My case is a bit weird, i was wondering if anyone has a similar case or has heard of anything similar? State: WA Position: Jewellery designer RCB approved: 6 Nov 2016 Nomination approved: 4 July 2017 Visa applied: 1 Mar 2017 Application opened: 4 July 2017 (note this is the same day taht my nomination was approved, so very peculiar)- my MA and I were pleasantly surprised by the application being opened so quickly. They requested for some reference letters from my previous employers which we provided by 11th July 2017. And that was it!! - I have been waiting for correspondence ever since. My employer contacted Immi by phone in May 2018 and we were only told "it is being looked at" and the guy wouldn't say another word. You can imagine my level of frustration. Please share you thoughts and experiences. Has any one in WA heard from immi recently? Thank you guys.
