Hello again, so does this mean I need to fill in form 80 as well?? I havent come to that part. the current application is making us provide information for family (non migrating). It says in the help section that you do not need to provide passport numbers if you dont know them, however when we try to move on to the following pages, its says 'this section is required' (for passport numbers) - this is a very difficult process.

Hi there, quick question. My husband is 47yrs old UK national applying for partner visa. Question 11 asks for information of any other family (non migrating). So does he need to list his elderly mum, dad and sister??? This is rather odd as his father is not a part of his life so getting information from him will prove difficult. Can anyone advise please?

yes, if you are making the application onshore, you the identifier needs to be an Australian Citizen from the approved profession list and NOT related..we are struggling! Its the only thing holding us up.

Hi there, we have recently arrived in Australia. My husband has entered on a tourist visa but we are intending to reside here permanently. We have applied for the Partner visa but are stuck on a few issues. 1) if we have moved from the UK now, (and were in rented property in the UK) we now have no address to link ourselves to in the UK. So is his USUAL place of residency the UK? Or OZ? 2) will we need to have police checks from the UK? if so, how do we go about that from oz? He has a DBS check document which is still current, is that acceptable? 3) my daughter is also here on a tourist visa. Should we attach her onto my husbands application and if so would we have to pay another $7000+ for her? (total $14000+) or is it easier if I apply for citizenship by descent for her? ( i am an Aussie citizen )

Hi! I am completing my daughters Citizenship by descent application. We are onshore and she arrived into the country on a 601 tourist visa. The process includes completing a 1195 identify document. My problem is, that my daughter has never visited australia and we cant think of any people in the approved professions who are NOT related and have known her for 12 months! Is there any way around this? Thanks!
