    Skillselect ENS 186 Timeline

Hi All - I am glad to share the good news that I got my golden email yesterday. 11 months of anxious wait is now over and ready to move on in life, take up the next challenge and enjoy life as well during the course. I can imagine how stressful is the period of this indefinite wait for people looking forward to hear the good news but stay positive and trust the process, as the saying goes "The two most powerful warriors are patience and time" Below are my timelines and same is updated in the signature. Please update the spreadsheet. Please note medicals had expired in oct/nov 2018 and there were no request for additional documentation. Occupation: Software Tester State: QLD Country: HR Stream: 457 - 186 TRT Number of applicants: 1 ENS 186 Visa and Nomination applied: 20/02/2018 Nomination approved: 12/12/2018 Visa approved: 22/01/2019 Wish you guys good luck and sending positive vibes!

Hi, Is it possible to upload the latest AFP / PCC directly by myself or should I do it through MA? I believe my last PCC was done 12 months ago, so planning to re-apply. Also, I am not aware about my exact status of the visa, as it was lodged by MA. Is there a way to find my current visa status and import the details? Thanks

@dschmidt @ajk mine was lodged on 20th Feb. What a coincidence we three are in a row!! Hopefully the visa gets granted in the same order

Hi @dschmidt - mine is TRT. I too remember seeing in the spreadsheet. My worry is I do not see Software Tester role in latest occupation list for 186, it is eligible for 189, 190 I believe, so not quite sure if they would consider for ENS. Ideally it shouldn't be an issue as the overall experience from 457 or 482 needs to be taken into consideration, but still wanted to confirm if this is okay.

@dschmidt I am in the same boat, applied almost 9 months ago and still it is received. Have you heard of anyone who got their ENS approved as software tester, in the past?

This is just crazy. And something needs to be done about it if there's more work load involved.

Yeah even I thought so, it would be better to get some opinion from an agent but just wanted to check if anyone has faced similar situation or has any additional information. People do travel on BVB, but I am unsure if they are permitted to work in another country while on bridging. Also, with the significant increase in the visa processing time, it's becoming more complicated and this wait is just killing. But there's not much choice but to wait patiently and I'm sure lot of people are in a stressful situation due to this change. Any idea why there is huge increase in processing time? Appreciate your feedback, thanks.

Hi @Hex I am permanently employed though, only thing is my employer wants me to relocate to my base country until they find a suitable contract and the pay would be in accordance to local country's pay standards.

Hi All, I have a query related to 186 ENS visa. It has been almost 8 months (20-Feb) since my nomination has been lodged under TRT stream. I work in IT, permanently employed but we get outsourced and work at client location on contracts. Currently my employer is unable to find a suitable contract for last couple of months and have asked me to return back to my home country until they find a suitable opportunity (where they would pay salary as per the relocated country's pay terms). They also informed that they won't be withdrawing my application. Question: Will this have any implications on my visa processing? I have seen in certain cases, the case officer sometimes do ask for latest pay slips till date as additional documents. Is this not a legal requirement for the sponsorer to pay the the employee as per Fair works and compensation Australian law, even when in bridging visa?
