  1. It took 2 months extra just to verify the NZ criminal record with MOJ. So it pays to get everything up to date with accurate document details. All the best for you guys .. it was a long and exhausting journey but at the end it worth it. Just sit tight and be patient .. no much we can do just keep thing up to date and accurate. It was a pleasure to be a part of this great community. Wish you all the best. Black Serpant OUT.
  2. Ding Ding Ding. Approved finally. Thanks everyone for the support and info. You guys been awesome.
  3. Hi Friskycharmer, No sadly no news yet. It seems as our friend hex said. When application status changes to further assessment then its most likely will be delayed.
  4. Attention - Important notice to all people required to provide NZ police clearance certificate or Criminal record certificate. I have been in touch with NZ MOJ and they have confirmed that they still process and provide verification of NZ police clearance certificates/ Criminal Record Certificates to AU IMMI as long as the certificates are no older than 6 months. Furthermore, they confirmed that the verification process take no longer than a week. Since then I have contacted my case officer and I think I have found out what went wrong .. The consent form provided to NZ MOJ for verification was for an older criminal record check (expired/ older than 6 months); therefore, it was rejected and I was asked to provide new checks and consent forms. This has been rectified without the need to obtain new checks. In conclusion, NZ police checks/ criminal records within 6 months old are still valid.
  5. Hi Hibye, I also recommend having a new one and always keep it valid at least for 6 months >> we know that police certificates are valid for 1 year as per AU immigration and since yours is quite old now I do recommend you to get a new one.
  6. Important notice to all people required to provide NZ police clearance certificate or Criminal record certificate. We have been contacted by AU immigration and required now to provide new NZ police clearance certificate (Full Criminal Record) with new consent forms as per the case officer request although our certificates are just 3 months old and the reason why is as per the letter attached below from our case officer.
  7. Hi nircha, Yes, you are correct and I agree with you .. the reason behind the verification is to get a confirmation from NZ MOJ about the number of pages issued for that particular criminal record certificate and the answer is usually Yes or No. From experience with people from this forum, I have noticed many applicants had to obtain NZ criminal record certificate and provide consent letter - The process of verification seems to take very long for some reason and as of now it is unclear which side is causing the delay.
  8. Hi there, sadly its worse than you think >> below is a screen shot from immigration website clarifies things about the NZ police check. Have a read it will help. As per below - This will take a couple of months for verification with NZ ministry of Justice. IMMI Status has changed to Further Assessment
  9. Din Ding Ding ... I have just received an email from my MA. Nomination has been approved and they requested new consent forms for my NZ police clearance certificate. This will take a couple of months to check with NZ ministry of Justice but at least we are half way done. Occupation: Cardiac Tech State: QLD Birth Country: NZ Stream: ENS 186 DE Number of applicants: 4 Visa and Nomination applied: 27 Feb 2018 IMMI Status: Initial Assessment
  10. Friskycharmer is right... Process time update on my immi account first then a day or two later updates in the website.
  11. Hi Jenny, Yep, but back when we have applied the processing time was only 6 months. The worrying thing is, processing time seems to grow every months. I hope it will improve soon, imagine hundreds of applications are just sitting there for months. Not much we can do but wait patiently, all the best though.
  12. Hello to everyone, A new starter here, please add me to the spread sheet "waiting list". Occupation: Cardiac Tech Nomination and Visa application: Both applied for on 27 Feb 2018 via MA. Status: Received (still). Country: LR. Number of applicants: 4. Location: QLD. Being waiting (8 months now) and started to get anxious; hence, my search lead me here. Good to see people in the same boat sharing there experiences.
