  1. @hibye in my opinion you will most likely need a new NZ Police certificate and signed consent. It will save you time. This is because, once you provide current New Zealand penals, IMMI have to write to the NZ MOJ to verify certain aspects of the penal clearances. With a recent change, NZ MOJ only verify penals issued in the previous 2 months.
  2. @Black Serpant Well it happened to me also. Took 3 months to get this sorted. Normally NZ police check is valid for 6 months but seems like for additional penal check only 2 months. So please get a new NZ police certificate and submit along with a new consent as requested.
  3. Oh my god just got my PR. I waited 7 years for this day. Still, I can't believe. I may have to sleep and wake-up a few times to adjust with this new reality. This forum and thread gave me a lot of hope. So thank you all. I wish very good luck to everyone currently waiting for their PR. Especially a few who have been waiting for the last 2 years. You are very brave and just hold on there it will come.
  4. Congratulations @Bellabonkers Yes, they are indeed working - great people. Just got my VAC2 email and paid it within 10 minutes. So I am now waiting for my golden email.
  5. Congratulations @Chef.pande. I will be keen to know how you managed to call the immigration. Is that standard contact number? I am thinking to give them a nudge but have been avoiding that.
  6. Hi Everyone, Need some advice. My nomination is approved and my visa application status is currently further assessment. I have been asked for documents twice and I submitted new NZ police clearance 3 weeks back. No update since then. My medical will expire 12 months window on 1st Jan. Do you think CO can ask for a new medical or should I just wait - assuming I don't hear from them until the new year? It has been already 4 months since nomination approved. Thanks for your input.
  7. Just as backup - I suggest you apply for a new NZ MOJ criminal record check (full-record) and submit along with new consent. What’s your timeline?
  8. @Eddy101 I am in similar situation. I was asked to submit new NZ police certificate which took exactly 28 days. Submitted documents on 20th Nov with new MOJ consent. I have been told that Immigration performs additional penal check with MOJ after submission of police certificate and it has to be done within 2 months since certificate was issued. Now waiting as visa application is further assessment.
  9. Hi All, Appreciate if you can share your timeline around “Further Assessment”. - My nomination application was approved 18th Sep 2018 (visa/nomination lodged 15 Jan) - Same day CO requested few documents including consent for New Zealand MoJ - Documents submitted in hours and visa application status now further assessment - Waiting for 2nd payment invoice to cover my partner’s English skills as mentioned by CO I am hoping that I will hear from CO again in next 2-4 weeks. Currently we are on bridging visa so avoiding any travel plans. Also anyone else submitted consent for New Zealand MoJ if so how long it takes? LI
  10. Jan 2018 TRT Nomination and Visa Application. Nomination approved yesterday. Visa now further assessment. CO asked for documents and functional English for the partner, all requested documents submitted yesterday and now waiting for VAC2. No idea when I will be contacted by the CO again.
