I am planning to move to Sydney on the 31st of January. Is the citizenship ceremony invites in Sydney toke so long? I haven't update my address yet in Sydney..

prior to this visa, I was under Student Visa, and I am from Philippines Applied Visa 187 (employer sponsorship) 22 Feb 2018 Visa 187 Granted 29 April 2019 Applied Citizenship 30 April 2020 Test and Interview. 6 Nov 2020 Approval of Citizenship application right after the test and interview and the status of my immi account changed from Received to Approved Awaiting now for the Citizenship Ceremony

But in my immi account it says that it is only six months waiting after approval..

I thought that they said on their announcement last week that the processing time of RSMS will be more faster now, but what happen, it all goes backwards again..

The processing time changed again.. from 21-23months..

Actually, I was planning to lodge my paper by myself becaue I know for a fact that I can save more money. But my employer doesn’t want to provide all the documents, instead, they want us to use their Solicitor. Most of the employees that they sponsored used their solicitors, so that it would be easier for them. Their solicitor already got all of my employer documents, that is why they can easily copy and paste and just change the name on the documents that they need to provide to the immigration.. I am in ACT as well..

I dont know if my rcb and nomination are approved already or not, because my MA didn’t answer whenever we asked them thru email. But our papers was lodged on the 22nd of Feb 2018.. Until now, still waiting..

Our application was lodged by our MA last Feb 2018, but until now.. no news yet.. even when we asked our MA regarding about our Nomination and RCB, they don’t reply..

Huhuhu.. i am wishing that I have the same luck as yours guys.. i know that my waiting is not that long as compare to all of you, but my struggles financially is worst than anyone of you.. thats why I am praying that my PR will be granted as soon as possible.. congrats to all.. goodluck to some of us!!
