Hi guys we lodge subclass 173 back in 5th August 2015 and received request for further documents on 02/02/2019. We emailed all our requested documents on 19/03/2019. I was just wondering do any one know how long does it take for case officer to assess the case again and request for 2nd vac. Much appreciate if anybody can share their experience

No they don’t ask aos for 173 it’s only 143

I checked that information she can still be added to the application prior to the application finalisation she needs to filled form 1436. But I was thinking should we consider that or just leave as it is. As case officer didn’t asked anything related to this in the requested documents!

Her elderly sister in law passed away 6 months ago. She was non migrant family member in the subclass 173 application

Thank you very much for your reply. I think she was included as a dependent member of the family & the reason she wasn’t included in the application because she is a career of her elderly sister in law overseas, therefore she wasn’t included at that time, but now her sister in-law passed away should we include her in the application ? Is it still possible when case officer allocated. please share your information on that

Hello everyone we applied subclass 173 for my father in law and my brother in law (was 17 years old ) 5th August 2015. Today case officer allocated and requested further documents. 1. Personal particulars for character assessment 2. Police clearance certificates 3. Immigration Health Examinations (for example: chest x-ray, medical examinations and/or blood tests as specified in the Health Examinations List) 4. Colour copy of your passport just a quick question to the forum I didn’t include my mother in law in the application but case officer requested police clearance & medical for my mother in law. Can anyone please advice me why case officer asked even she wasn’t included in the application!

Congratulations to Judy and family. We applied 173 in 5th August 2015 not received any further communications except acknowledgement.

Hi Linda your explanation was superb. My father age at the moment 63.5 and we applied 173 May 2017. One other reason we choose to apply CPV is to bring my brother who is under -18 so he can also get parmanent visa. Rather then applying student visa and get PR through this path as things are getting more complicated day by day. I think from your conversation we should switch it to 143 so my parents Can covered on Medicare also my brother can study on a permanent resident visa. Any suggestion please explain Thank you everyone

They currently has this condition on but if we are able to apply to remove no further stay condition and be able to apply on shore Contributory parent visa.

Hi Suelear I lodge subclass 173 for my father and my younger brother under the age of 18 as a dependent child on 15th may 2017. I realise this application will take at least 5 years before we hear anything. Now my father here in Australia on visitor visa 600 and has no further stay condition on it. My brother also in Australia visitor 600 but doesn’t have no further stay condition on it. I’m thinking to lodge for 864 on shore. My question to the forum 1. is it possible to apply for 864 while my father has no further stay condition. If not Which way we can apply to remove 8503 condition ? 2. If we successfully able to lodge 864 are we going to loose our original lodgement date? Or they will swap our application. Also application fees we paid what would happen to that. Any other advise please help. Thank you
