Hi Maggie, Need your advice My nomination has been refused stating that the position looks not genuine without asking any further documents to prove.how can a case officer decide such unjustic decision without knowing the truth. Well its been refused and my MA is goin to appeal..just want to ask you how long it takes for a decision and ince they decide it would be for both nomination and my application? Thanking you

Hi. My nomination has been refused stating that they are not convinced that my position is genuin without asking any further documents and refused straight away!! Thats totally disjustice!! Now my MA said the only way left is to appeal!! Well how long do you think it takes to decide the situation. Plz if anyone knows about it help me to get answer Thanking you

Hey all I have the same problem. In my case CO said he is not convinced that i have been working as a chef position and refused straight away without asking any further documents. They can't play with someones life like that. They should have ask for further documents to prove the truth. Do any one knows that i need to appeal or it can be reviewed by the same CO?

Thanx wrussell for your response. ..so you mean to say that once the nomination is refused you can request for review or you need to appeal to review!!?

Hi there My employer nomination has been refused saying that my position as a chef is not genuin and case officer is not convinced and refused straight away without any further documents needed. My MA now said that once the case officer decided it cant be reviewed but only way is to appeal...is that correct?
