  1. It's just a bit confusing as New Zealanders we are entitled to medicare+centerlink so I thought we are not considered as overseas worker because with regards to SAF it's for nominating overseas workers, not sure if it's right. THanks
  2. Hi all, I've got a really dumb question regarding this new SAF levy, according to the home affairs website, it is applicable to overseas skilled worker just wondering if it is applicable to New Zealander applying for ENS 186? Thanks
  3. I'm talking about NZ 189 as I came on December 2016 but cutoff was til Feb 2016 so I'm not eligible for that one. is there any other way I can get PR apart from independent skill visa as short of score. THanks
  4. Thanks for the time to reply. I hold NZ passport and came here on Dec 2016 so 189 is out of the option. Will it make any difference to the nomination fee if I have NZ passport?
  5. Thanks Raul, I will be 2yrs with my employer this November so planning to get it started this year but my employer was not sure to nominate me because of the new change, they don't want to pay that much compared to what they're paying before. Any dates for this SAF levy will get implemented? Hi Claire, is your employer aware of this new change in nominating an employer? As to my employer I'm working at The Alfred Hospital which is a big organization but still they're thinking of the nomination will cost them.
  6. Hi guys! Any of you who are looking for sponsorship got turned away by employer because of this new change, that employer need to pay Skilling Australians Fund levy on top of the nomination fee? My employer was happy to nominate me last year but when I followed it up this year, they're not sure anymore as they will need to pay more than usual.
