    IELTS help !

Hi Lucie, I was also in the same situation, I sat IELTS and didn't get my desired result of 8 out of 9 in each section. I then went on to do the PTE and got over 79 out of 91 in each section. I watched youtubes from E2Language https://www.e2language.com. Jay was very helpful and is one of the teachers. He gives excellent tips, I then sat three mock exams and I scored higher in the real test. The PTE is also difficult but it is easier to gain higher marks. I totally messed up the writing but stuck to the method advised on E2 language, similar with describe the images. It doesn't matter if you describe the graphs wrong, as long as you have oral fluency. This is all explained on e2 language, which is free to access on youtube. Hope this helps. I've lodged my application to ANMAC so waiting on that. Rebecca

    ANMAC Full skills assessment

Thanks Martina for getting back to me. What visa are you applying for?
  3. Hi there, just wondering has anyone applied to Anmac recently? I submitted all my documentation for a full skills assessment last week. I would like to claim 5 points for work experience and I have submitted my references. Just wondering, In my letter of determination will it state that I have 3 years experience? Or do I apply to Anmac for this after I receive my LOD? I thought I read somewhere there was an extra fee if you are having your references assessed? Online it seems to say you apply for assessment of your references after your LOD? I'm a bit confused. Thanking you.
  4. I sat both the IElTS and PTE, I would recommend the PTE Academic over IELTS. I'm a native English speaker and didn't get the disired result with IElTS. I needed to achieve a high score, to award me with Superior English. Although PTE was also difficult, it was easier than IElTS to achieve high marks. I watched E2 language support tips on youtube, and sat some mock exams online to prepare.
  5. Hi there, I'm a mental health nurse with 65 points including state sponsorship and want to apply to Victoria. I'm in the process of studying for the PTE and hope to submit the skills assessment at the end of September 2018. After reading some posts, I'm wondering do I have to prove I have a job offer to increase my chances of being invited? as I've minimum points at 65? I don't have any family in Melbourne, only Perth and I'm going alone. Do I have to have my APHRA pin before expressing interest? I'm aware I have 90 days before presenting in Australia after receiving my pin, so it doesn't make sense time frame wise if I don't get an invite to apply. Any information would be grateful. I'm not using an agent. Thank you.

    190 visa 65 points

Hi there, I'm an Irish mental health nurse with two years experience this coming October 18. I'm then hoping to apply for the 190 visa for Victoria. What are my chances with maximum 65 points including state sponsership of being invited? I'm 37 and will be moving as a single applicant.
