Visa granted yesterday!!! They called to ask my travel plans as I’m currently offshore, when they found out I didn’t need another police check they granted the visa!!! please update the spreadsheet, I’m Sean in March also edit that my nomination was approved saturday, and it was Nswpse! hope everybody gets their good news soon, and thanks to everyone on here who have put their timelines up on the spreadsheet, it’s been really helpful. i partied a bit too hard last night and feel like dog poo, but knowing I’m a PR in Australia softens the blow! Changed my Visa agent in my phone to this, all requested documents are uploaded, so when she rings it can only mean one thing! Good luck to everyone who is still waiting, here’s hoping for a few grants tomorrow!!

Hey all, I’ve gone from recieved to initial assessment! I’m guessing this means my nomination was approved? They have requested form 80 for me and my partner, and police checks. Should have them both uploaded today, as we completed our police checks around 6 months ago. My advice is to get that form 80 sent in guys, if it’s requested or not, as it could have been a golden e mail instead of a silver one! (if MA had uploaded police checks when I sent them too) Good luck to you all, and could the admin please update the spreadsheet for me Sean - March 18, (if initial assessment means my nomination was granted then that was 31/12/18) requested above docs. peace out!

Hello all, Ive been watching this forum for a few months now, thought I better sign up so I can put my 2c in. Any other carpenters out there waiting for their visa? A few guys at my work have got their visas already, one took 5 months, another took 14. A friend of mine got his in 3 months! I was hoping to get mine soon, but having a look on here I see some of you have been waiting over 2 years :O MA reckons things might speed up in this new financial year, so fingers crossed and here's hoping we all get that e-mail we have all been waiting for soon!
