so as our 457 is still outstanding with no decision that would expire after 12 months from submission ? -
so as our 457 is still outstanding with no decision that would expire after 12 months from submission

we applied for a 457 visa back in August 2017. In November 2017 we received word the employer nomination had been approved but the case officer could not approve the rest of the file as we were missing a policy check ( this was submitted a week later). we are yet to hear a decision regarding the 457 application and so i was wondering does the nomination expire and if so when? We called immigration today and advised the processing time is now 14 months. If that is the case then surely every application will have something that needs to be re-submitted?
