Hi Oshan, Apologies I had no clue about what the process behind the scene. The majority differences between my wife and myself were i had a lots more travel history and one speeding fine. Otherwise my wife and i arrived in Aust on the same month, got our PR grant on the same day and applied for Citizenship on the same day.

Hello everyone, Here is another update on my Citizenship application since my application was approved, I have received the virtual ceremony invitation from council on 8th Aug. Virtual Ceremony : 18th Aug 2021 (Ku ring gai council NSW) and i just did it together with my family. I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone here being part of my journey from 457 > 186 > Citizenship in my last 5.5 year. What a great community, willingness to share information, your journey and help each other. I wish everyone here will have your application approved and ceremony soon.

My application was approved on March this year and waiting for ceremony invite from Ku ring gai council. A friend of mine his application was approved on Oct last year same council, he has got the ceremony invitation a few weeks before, the ceremony will be in mid May this month.

Hello everyone, I would like to share my timeline: Application applied: 27/06/2020 Invitation on 05/02/2021 for test and interview on 05/03/2021. Both my wife and I passed. My wife application was approved on the same day, but mine was approved today 27/03/2021. location: Sydney CBD. Now we will be waiting for ceremony.

Hi Everyone! I have been a silent reader of this forum. I would like to give an update of my application, I have my PR granted yesterday. I wanted to say thanks to everyone here that I have got a lot of information about 186 visa, lots of sharing which has been really helpful. My family and I did our police clearance certificate on 8th Feb and it took up to 4 weeks to process and post to the Department. Status changed to further assessment on 12 Mar and PR is granted on 13 Mar I wish everyone here gets their much awaited visa soon. Best of luck  Dmak

Initial Assessment Further documentation requested for police check from Aus and HK probably due to expiry on the ones i previously provided ICT Business Analyst DE, onshore Nomination and Application Lodged on 23rd Feb 2018 Status changed to Initial Assessment and further Documents requested 28th Jan 2019 Wish everyone receive your golden email soon!
