Any ideas how the last paragraph will affect those in the 143 queue?

So this is different to the 143 as it is the assured who has to have this income?

This is based on their income alone OR the combined income of your child and their spouse/partner AND/OR another Australian-based child (if applicable). The other Australian child must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.

Hi All, Does anyone have any idea how long it takes to process an 870 visa.. i am planning to go over in Sept 2023 and wait for my 143, which is currently estimated at 2029 (11 years after application) so looking at when i will need to start the ball rolling? TIA, Dan -
i see, i thought for an awful minute that i had wasted my time going for the 143, if i could have been onshore on a 103. Thankyou for the clarification.

I am a little confused, re the third paragraph. does this mean that if you lodged your visa in May 18 you are now at the back of the queue?

Hi. We applied and were accepted for our subclass 600 for my wife. Can you possibly let me know if normal full year travel insurance with "Staysure Travel insurance" will be sufficient medical cover or does she require full medical insurance. Also i ticked the box for the additional year on the visa application and supplied the required evidence but her acceptance document does not seem to refer to it. is this normal? Dan

Can I use Travel insurance or does it have to be a dedicated Medical Insurance?
