  1. Hi everyone! No you’re all absolutely right been doing some research. Spoken to an agent as well and I can gain PR through the rsms/187 route under childcare group leader. I don’t NEED my qualifications assessed under this route but think I will apply to acecqa anyway as it would be good to know what my national diploma comes out as over there.
  2. I’ve decided to go for the 187 now as don’t need a degree. Just going to get my national diploma assessed by acecqa.
  3. I have a BTEC national diploma does anyone know what that equates to in Australia? It’s in children’s care learning and development if that helps?
  4. Would be going for either the 190 if I can get a sponsor or the 189. Early childhood teacher is on the mltssl under code 241111, which I think I’m qualified for as my colleague has the same qualifications as me and is a certificate 3 there, which I’ve read qualifies you as am ect.
  5. Early childhood educator is on the list it’s just that there are different names for it. It’s on the mltssl -code 24111
  6. No because the title is something different here than it is out there, I’m a qualified manager of a nursery with the qualifications that I have but they need to be formally assessed by acecqa, I would be going for early childhood teacher, which you can be certificate 3, or diploma educated it says. My colleague who has the same level as me has got hers assessed and she is certificate 3.
  7. Hi all! I have been working in nurseries full time since 2014 (bar 8 months that I spent in Australia and 3 months working with elderly people) i travelled to Australia on a WHV spent basically the entire time looking around as have always wanted to move out there. Am looking at possibly the 189 or the 190 visa. Would have a minimum of 60 points (providing my qualification can be recognised by acecqa), possibly 65 if I applied next year (would give me 5 extra points for extra time working in my field) Just wondering if anyone has similar experience? Or if anyone has a BTEC level 3 in children’s care learning and development and it was recognised by acecqa? There are BTEC level 3’s on the website as formerly recognised but none of them are my exact qualification.
  8. Hi! Thought I’d jump on this thread hope you all don’t mind. So I haven’t started my process yet a si need to get ,y qualifications assessed (nursery worker) by acecqa, but I need copies of my certificated certified first. Anyone know who can do this? Prefer not my employer as I’d not like to tell them yet of my intent to leave because if my visa gets declined there’s no point? Or if anyone has any different advice for me it’s much appreciated. It’s just me on my own going out there.
