  1. Ah thank you so much guys. Yes I’ve been speaking to George Lombard and have a consult with them on Weds- it’s just now Hubby is 100% on board with a move, I’m so excited (wanted to do this for 15 years!) that I’m gutted to think my health- which is completely stable and apparently not that expensive to manage (5-6000 aud a year) would stop us going [emoji20] so just wondering if anyone has been in a similar position and succeeded xxx
  2. Hi there, Is it possible to apply for a state sponsored 489 visa on my occupation but use Hubbys employer in Oz to waive any health issues with the visa? I am the stronger applicant on paper but my health conditions may well need a waiver. (Although I know the 489 doesn’t carry a waiver option so not sure how this would work?!) Thank you so much xx
  3. Hi guys, We are seriously researching emigrating on a 489 visa under my job. However, my husband is currently the main breadwinner and would continue to be for the first year or so, until our youngest is at school. He is a (chartered) financial accountant, currently Head of Finance/ Senior Financial Controller for a listed company with very significant turnover, 8 years experience in London for US listed company also. My question is, is there a website or specialist recruitment agency that focus on finding high level accountancy management jobs within the stipulated Queensland postcodes for specific (489) visa? These are the postcodes that it stipulates we can live and work in. Thank you so much. Mariclaire
  4. Hi, Thanks so much. Yes I’ve spoken to Richard over the phone- they are quite rare drugs and although the cost isn’t massive (around £800 over 12 months) but I just wondered if anyone has any experience of it as it’s such a lot to put the family through to then fail at the last hurdle [emoji4] x
  5. Hey all, this is my first post- thank you for having me! my husband and I have been looking into moving to Oz for some time now. But my health took a nosedive... I have been diagnosed with Seronegative Myasthenia Gravis and an Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease. For these I take Mycophenolate Mofetil and Mestinon and am now well controlled- I am confident I will be able to get letters from my specialists to confirm this. It’s likely I will be on these two drugs for life. Does anyone on here have any experience- good or bad- of these conditions/drugs and whether they are likely to hamper our application? We will be going on my job and it will be a 489 visa. thank you so much Maz
