Hi there, Myself and my partner are looking at potential places to live in between Ballarat and Melbourne CBD, nothing is certain I’ve just had a potential job come up in Ballarat, but my partner would be working in Melbourne CBD, I was wondering if any one has and suggestions or experienced living in the suburbs between both, we ideally would like an equal distance and have been looking around Melton and Eynesbury. any information would be great thanks Gary

Hi Sean, I currently hold a 190 visa as a 1st class machinist, I was sponsored by Victoria as a state to get my visa, I'm pretty sure that means I have to work in Victoria for a set amount of time? But I've been in Perth for the last week and really enjoyed it, i will be heading back to England tonight to sort a few things out, Do you know if you have to definitely work in the state (in my case victoria) or with a resident 190 visa can you move around? Hi there, I have recently got my skilled visa and will be moving down under to Melbourne hopefully at the end of the year/beginning of next year, I was just wondering if anyone has done this as a 1st class metal machinist/cnc/manual machinist, working mainly on lathes and if so how they found it and if you could advise on pay? I've seen a few jobs advertised, but I wanted to hear first hand from someone who has taken on the move and how they found it including getting a job and so on. Many thanks Gary
