Hi everyone i am currently on subclass 309 visa and few days back i received an email from immi that i can now submit my documents for second stage partner visa( subclass 100)... As its mentioned that applicant is eligible for second stage visa after 2 years of 309 visa application lodgement... on 15th of september 2019 its going to be 2 years since i lodged my 309 application... so should i wait till 15th of September or i can submit my documents now? any info would be of great help. TIA

Yeah, that’s what happened with me. At lahore airport, the immi officer just asked me where i’m flying to and thats it. And on sydney airport, at the immi counter they just asked for my passport and a question “have you arrived for the first time in Australia? “ and nothing else.

Absolutely nothing... but its good to keep the print out of the grant notification letter with you,just to be on safe side. in my case no one asked for anything except for the passport, on either the airports( lahore airport and sydney airport)

No that’s not true. I had paper based application that i submitted in september 2017.... interview in june and i got my visa grant in july... exactly after 10 months and 4 days

You can better know about the documents required by visiting VFS global's website. Form 80 is not required for female applicants (i did not submit form 80 nor the CO asked for it and also my sis in law did not do so) the only forms that we submitted were 40sp, 47sp and form 54 (family composition)

I would really love to help but as i submitted paper based application and without any agent's assistance, i don't know much about online system and immi account thing. I had my biometrics same day when i submitted my application at the VAC and for medical check i got the request letter attached with an email.

Alhamdulillah got my visa grant Timeline is DOL: 15th sep 2017 Documents checklist sent by AHC: 15th May 2018 Date of medical check: 8th may 2018 DOI: 25th June 2018 Further documents requested same day and submitted on 27th june. DOG: 19th july 2018 Alhamdulillah ?

In the acknowledgnent mail have they mentioned that the Visa Officer has been notified and is working on your application??

I forgot to send my polio vaccination certificate before, so the CO asked for that and at the time of lodgment we submitted 2016 version of forms 4psp and 47sp... CO requested to send forms designed in 2017. We sent the requested docs very next day.... and now hope to get the visa soon insha Allah
