Any updates on the new 186 timelines? I would imagine there would have been a flurry of applications 186 after the 457 changes were announced! However, with the new TSS visa and only the MLTSSL leading to PR, it must surely mean a lighter workload in terms of processing speed.

Hello everyone, It's my first time posting on this forum. I am currently holding a 457 visa under the category of Marketing Specialist. I have been with my current employer in two different contract roles since September 2016 to present. I have held two consecutive 457 visas in that time totalling 1year and 6months of consecutive employment to the present date. My employer has just offered me another role under the same category (Marketing Specialist), which is full time and continuing along with sponsorship. Should I accept the new role, would I be able to apply for PR under the temporary residence transition stream grandfathering provisions in six months time? This will be my third role with the employer under the same category and will reach the two-year mark by August 2018. Kind regards, Robert
