  1. Hello, I moved to Melbourne in March with my family on a 457 visa. My husband works full time and I currently look after our two kindergarten aged children. I would really like to study whilst I'm out of work but having had a look at international student fees for local universities study is an impossibility unless a PR. Does anybody know if I am entitled to any help on a 457 visa or can anybody point me in the right direction of where I can find out all I need to know? Many thanks
  2. Can anyone tell me what this suburb is like please? Safe? Family friendly? Good schools etc Thanks
  3. Exellent thank you, I shall start having a look. We’ll be looking for a 3-4 bed for up to around £800.
  4. Hello, I’m moving with my husband and two (two and four years) children to Melbourne in a fortnight. My husband will be working in the CBD. I like the sound of a quiet, leafy Eastern suburb but it needs to have a train station close enough to bike or walk as we are only planning on having one car that I shall mainly use. Donvale and Warrandyte sound lovely and real estate looks great with nice big gardens (our dog will be joining us in June) however these look only bus commutes so disappointingly no good! i like the idea of being fairly central in Melbourne so can travel around in either direction. We’ve booked a months accommodation in Frankston as this is the furthest point my husband would realistically commute. Could anyone help me identify the leafy family friendly and excellent train link eatern suburbs please? Im not ruling out beach living but we have areas sussed from a post my husband put up a few weeks back! Thank you
