  1. I can feel you KD31, I have experienced all the syndromes described haha... For everyone here please look after your own health & mental health & your family's because it is not worth you & your family health & happiness over a visa run. I mean the visa is very important, it is the foundation of your future, I get that. However, if you lose health & happiness, what is the purpose of all these sweat, blood and tears??? The Grant of Visa won't set you free, your mindset will. You have no control over how other ppl/ DIBP/ government treating you, but you can choose how to respond internally, and the reaction you chose to have is going to define yourself. - From someone who had been there. P.S My visa granted on 20/04/2018 after exactly 1 year of anxious wait 1st Nomination lodged 19/4/2017 1st Nomination & Application Refused 15/9/2017 2nd Nomination lodged 20/10/2017 2nd Application lodged 6/11/2017 Further doc & medical & Police check requested 15/2/2018 Nomination granted 9/03/2018 TRT Sales Representative All the best and luck to everybody here and out there.
  2. I have tried.. not visiting any forums/ talking/ whining about it with friends/ watching news about immigration. I tried not to think about it at all, shut down from it all and pretended this long wait is not bothering me. but the reality is you still feel worried, angry and injustice every now and then, you just can't help thinking of it... I guess alcohol could be a "solution" what worked for me though is trying to think extremely positive about everything, I mean everything like appreciating the fact that i am still breathing, able to sleep and wake up every morning, am physically well and I have a job, food, and shelter it may sound very spiritual but it works like magic
  3. i have tried but failed to link them up unfortunately.. so I had to relodge my application which cost another couple of grand application fees
  4. really need to take my hat off to you guys who waited more than 1 year... how do you deal with stress and impatience? i think the mental advice is as important as those technical ones
  5. sounds quite comprehensive your submission, you'll get there dont worry! Did they ask for your medicals and police check?
  6. Dear all anxious hearts, long time follower but 1st time poster here. last week we have been requested to provide evidence of 2 year full-time employment, in a 3 year period preceding the nomination, e.g. super statements, PAYG, payslips, extracts of leave records. if I don't have any payslips, would it be okay if i only provide super statements & PAYG for FY15-16, 16-17? should i also provide my notice of assessment even the department didn't ask for it? any other document would help? thanks in advance! Nomination lodged: 3/10/17Visa lodged: 6/11/17
