Hi
A bit of background...
I went to university in 2001 and left with a university certificate (I became ill so had to leave)
I have worked in finance since 2002 and am now a finance business partner, currently studying CIMA and am about to finish the operational level
I was hoping that when I finished CIMA I would have plenty of points to apply for a 189 visa (25 for age, 15 for qualification, 20 for English and 20 for experience), however I now realise that they dont take into consideration any experience before you finish your qualification
I have the oportunity to complete my degree (BSc in accounting) in 1 year and wondered if this would be the best thing to do (CIMA will take me another 2 years)
I also have an MSc (in an unrelated subject) when I apply for the 189 would I get an extra 5 point for that or would I get 15 for my degree
Any advise is gratefully recieved I am desperate to move
