    I am a registered nurse (surgical ward) with 65 points and extra 5 for NSW state nomination. I am from the UK and am 40 in july so will lose 10 points I put in on Feb 22nd for my EOI for NSW and am yet to hear x good luck to us all xx

    Hello Gordon. I had a similar unknown query last month. I kept my 189 running clicked on 190 and then registered a new eoi for new South Wales under 190. Hope that helps and good luck xx

    I am a registered nurse (surgical) and put in my EOI for NSW on the 22nd of February with 65 points plus extra 5 making it 70 in total if nominated x

    seriously only ask official MARA agents who are able to give you correct advice. I know it is expensive to live in Sydney so looking more rural for myself x

    Hello Sorry for asking but am confused! long week!!! I put in on 25th of January for my expression of interest for a 189 skilled independent visa. I had 65 points - I completed Pearsons Academic and got 90/90 in all 4 sections (20 points) then positive skills assessment for a surgical nurse (ANZSCO 254424) with a degree (15 points) then age 39 until mid july (25 points) and more than 3 but less than 5 years experience in the UK as a nurse (5 points) Having looked and considering my options - I now want to apply for a 190 NSW State sponsorship visa - my skill is on the priority skilled occupation list. So I would have 65 points plus 5 points for state nomination? totaling 70 points?? I wondered do I click on 190 on the immigration page then submit expression of interest on the skill select page there? eg apply for EOI on the 190 immi page? Or do I click on my original Expression of interest (for a 189) and change it to NSW state sponsored? Can I keep both open until I get an invite then cancel the one not invited for sooner? Many thanks - sorry long shift and not getting my head around it!!! Kind regards Saffy x

    As far as I am aware you need to do English Exam for ANMAC - Academic English IELTS or Pearsons Academic. https://www.anmac.org.au/skilled-migration-services/full-skills-assessment I did Pearsons academic and got 90/90 for all 4 sections and then submitted for full skills assessment to ANMAC and received a positive skills assessment in January - then put in an Expression of Interest for a 189 visa with 65 points. I will apply later today or tomorrow for the 190 NSW state sponsored with 65 points plus 5 points for state nomination. Wishing you all the best as I am relatively new here too xx

    yes it was very similar - have u practiced methods from E2 language page and you tube?? The noise of others in the room is distracting - but try to focus on you and your goal! I did and aced it!! good luck xx

Cobain, I recommend you call them and ask them as it used to say a timeframe on their website. I cannot see one now. Good luck to you both x

    Hello Sophie and Welcome, you are more than welcome to join my post xx did you nurse in Perth? could you count them as work experience or before you trained to be a nruse? I am thinking of taking the 190 with extra 5 points to make 70 points and coping with living away from family but closer to friends for 2 years means I am there permanently rather than there not at all or temporarily Hope some kind person will come to our aid soon and offer advice (as the fab people before have!) Its a lot of money, do you have ANMAC already? if not can you see any probs getting ANMAC? it is all online now so I would check and there is a facebook page who are so helpful that you do not need an agent unless there are specific issues.     Sorry for the late reply. My wife was first diagnosed and treated for a liposarcoma at The PA and would love to work there one day xx we lived in Teneriffe at first then Yeronga and finally clayfield. Will let u know what I decide xx all the best xx

    Will look at jobs and house share/rental prices in NSW too and definitely consider it. Besides completing form 80 - what evidence in colour do i need to scan ready? I have scanned passport, marriage certificate, death certificate, Letter of Determination from ANMAC, Statements of service from 2 employers since graduating. Have I missed anything? Thank you again

    Hello Duke, I had thought of that and living close to QUEENSLAND border but living and working in NSW for 2 years. I have friends in QLD that I can be close to. Just with losing my wife I wanted to and they (her sis and nephew) want me to be close to them. Although it is only for 2 years I suppose. Can I put in a 190 eoi as well as the my 189 in? Thank u xx
