You are right! Infact there are no openings for Geologist all over Australia. The oil and gas sector is totally down. I don't know what to do now, continue waiting or go for 190 visa? But, that will also be the same case! And Geologist is the only occupation for which I can apply!

Okay, so that's the reason that I still haven't heard from them because there are no jobs only!! That's very bad. I don't know what to do now? Whether to continue waiting but that looks futile now! or try applying for 190 visa? but that will also be the same then, since oil and gas sector is totally down.

Initially I applied for South Australia state but when I didn't got any response, then in August i changed it to Tasmania for Geologist occupation but haven't heard anything regarding my EOI!

Now I am in India and I am 40 yrs old and now I want to move to Australia. I had submitted EOI for 489 visa in April 2017 but still haven't got any response! Should I submit application for 190 Visa or continue waiting for 489 visa? I m having 65 points. My Ielts score is 7.5 and it will expire in a year time.
