Thanks Quoll. The Kids are only 6 and 3. I just wanted to check if i needed to apply for UK passports as we'll only use them once then need to reapply in 5 years for new ones. I spoke to someone on the $2.50 a minute helpline and they weren't helpful and didn't know if the Children were allowed into the UK without a UK passport.That call seemed to leave me with more questions then before.

Thanks for the reply. If my kids have Australian passports only,how long are they permitted to stay in the UK as visitors?

Hi All, I am a Dual UK/Australian Citizen.I am going back to the UK in June 2018 to get married to my Australian Fiance.I have 2 kids coming with us.My Fiance is applying for a UK Marriage Visa but the UK Gov website says that 'dependants ' have to apply separately. I have called the UK phone line regarding the Visa requirements but they just said get UK passports for the kids. My question is can my kids(Hold Australian passports but eligible for UK passports) 1/ Spend 6 weeks in the UK using their Australian passports for entry/exit? 2/ Do they need UK visas? 3/ Is it best just to get UK passports for them? Ideally i'd like just to use their Australian passports.If anyone has any experience/advice it'd be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Dan
