Forgot to say, I would just buy new duvets from Ikea once you get to Brisbane, not really worth shipping bulky items like that especially if you arrive ahead of your luggage!

I would look at some of the 8km/9km suburbs on the west side of Brisbane - Sherwood, Oxley, Corinda, Chapel Hill, Kenmore, Fig Tree Pocket would all be within your commute time and are lovely suburbs with nice houses. Suburbs near a train line would make a great difference to your commute.

Hello everyone. I have 2 rental properties in Brisbane - a lovely 2 bedroom unit in Toowong near the river and a 5 bedroom luxury Queenslander house in Sherwood.
