  1. Finally, Immi requested documents from me. They need me to provide the evidence of my partner's English language ability and the relationship with my spouse.
  2. It doesn't matter. Of course you can go oversea when you have your BVB.
  3. The new processing time for 187 direct entry is 16 to 18 months.
  4. My agent went to last week Melbourne MIA meeting. She said even the immigration officer had no idea about upcoming policy changes and some questions....In MIA meeting, they said there might be some changes about 186/187 occupational list in January 2018. Well, let's see.... They used 7 months to finalize the grandfathering provision for 457, no one knows how long and how they will decide the new policy for 186/187. It's so struggling for all the 186 and 187 applicants.
  5. I totally agree what you have said. To be honest, we can see some examples for 457 back in July. I have heard some applications have been refused, because the occupations were not on the list. I know someone who has been refused after July 2017 because he is above 45 years old at that time. This man has already got his nomination and medical examination. However, let's still be positive to see whether the policy will be the same for 457 and 187 in March 2018.
  6. Hey, we got similar timeline here. I applied nomination July 2016 and got approved in July 2017, but I submitted visa in July 2017......HR country and 2 applications. Please let me know when you got your 187. BTW, I submitted my nomination in July 2016, but my nomination showed my lodgement date is Feb 2017. How about you? Good luck to you!

  8. I found an interesting thing on my nomination. I have submitted my nomination application in July 2016, but when I received my nomination in July 2017. It showed the lodgement date is in Feb 2017, so is that mean I have been waited for 7 months to be assessed...... Still waiting for my visa.....Really long!!!
  9. How could it be so long? Have you contacted your MA or immigration officer? It seems like the processing time on the immigration website is only about visa application, not nomination plus visa time.

  11. Does anyone know how long have you to wait when you lodge your visa after you received your nomination? thanks!
  12. How long have you to wait normally when you lodge your visa after you received your nomination?
  13. I already got my nomination in July (My occupation is accountant and onshore). Afterwards I have lodged my visa application and waited for almost three months, still no feedback. Is it normal?
