Yes I do know that now I read the dates to mean that I had a year form date of my grant to relocate back to Sydney. and as my visa was electronically attached to my passport I filed the letter away. My travel agent did not make nay mention of my visa when I booked a return air fare. I am devastated. I lived back in Aust for 10 months have my whole life in Sydney, my whole family,, job home, car I am stuck with no home no family no home.

I have had my RRV canceled due to the fact that I did not know I had to apply for a RRV before I left for a UK holiday. I am now stuck in the Uk no home no job no family . I have an agent now in Sydney any thing I can do to speed the process up ? I know I have to apply for yet an other RRV ASAP I have a job and a home in Aust I do not have any family in the UK I am staying with friends. can anyone help me please . Jan

Why can I not find out any information as to how my RRV application is progressing ? Placed on the 15/1/2017 I have added and updated information on my immi account over 2 weeks ago. How do I know if its even been looked at ? with all my family now living back in Sydney we are all so stressed ! how long do I wait for an outcome, before seeking a ETA if my RRV is not granted in time, my daughters wedding is fast approaching only 4 weeks away. I have taken on board advise from above. I have been waiting for almost 12 weeks have not had any response at all from Immigration, I have requested an update however not had anything I am still at a loss as to how to proceed and move forward. Sorry its Australia House in London ? I sent my RRV application off on the 15th of December 2017 on line. I have an immi account, sent all documents as requested. I keep ringing and checking my emails everyday as its been more than 40 days since I lodged my RRV application . The issue I have now is, that one of my adult daughter's gets married on the 31st of March in Sydney 2018. All my family now live back in Sydney my 2 adult daughter's were born in Sydney one left 18 months ago to relocate back to Sydney with her partner one daughter left on the 29th of December 2017 with her daughter my 3 year old granddaughter who now has citizenship. The information after ringing over 600 times over the last 2 weeks (as line is always busy) I did manage to chat with someone last week, who informed I just have to wait. I do understand this however they did advise I update my immi account with my current situation . I sent an update explaining once again about my daughters wedding, I sent documentation of invite with my application. The problem is if my RRV is not granted or if it does not come through within the next 10 days I am not sure if I would be able to apply for a holiday visa to attend my daughters wedding while my RRV is still being considered . Can anyone give me a starting point as to how I can find out any more information I am now at a loss as to how I may proceed as a matter of emergency. Thank you J

Just wanted to ask if anyone has had difficulty in making contact with Aust embassy in London ? I placed my RRV application in on the 15/12/2017, I have rang the embassy over 300 time the line is always busy from 1-4pm Thanks J

I am confused about what visa I can now apply for ? I lived in Sydney for over 25 years held a PRV . I relocated back to the UK with my 2 daughters then aged 14 and 16 in 2005 my PRV ran out in 2006. Both my now adult children were born in Sydney one daughter aged 27 relocated back to Sydney 16 months ago and now my 29 years old and 3 year old granddaughter is also relocating in December this year 2017 . I will have no family living in the UK and would also now wish to relocated with my family back in Sydney . However I am not sure and can not find any information on what visa would be the right one for me to now apply for ? is anyone able to advise . Thank you
